We hope you’ve all had a refreshing summer break! It’s certainly been a full and exciting season for us, and we’re looking ahead with great anticipation to all that God will do in the months to come. As we begin a new school year, please keep us in your prayers as we continue supporting young people and helping them discover Jesus in their lives.

Thank you for joining the prayer!

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us this summer to pray together wtih the staff, trustees, and volunteers of Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ.

Each week we reflected on a part of the Armour of God (Ephesians 6), sharing Scripture and a prayer prompt to guide us. These weren’t just reflections but real tools for a very real spiritual battles.

Satellites 20256 – 11th August 2025
A Week We Won’t Forget
💛
As you know we took a group of young people down to Satellites this summer and our hearts are still full. It was a week of joy, worship, friendship, and God doing amazing things among us – a week we’ll never forget.
Every morning we opened our Bibles together in Matthew’s Gospel, then headed to the main arena for games, worship with Elle Limebear, and powerful teaching. Afternoons were a mix of seminars, free time, and just enjoying being together before gathering again in the evenings for worship and ministry.
It wasn’t just fun – it was life-changing. We saw young people find a new freedom in worship, hearts filled with joy again after hard seasons, and God calling some to go deeper: to share their faith, bring hope into their families and schools, and be bold for Jesus. They prayed for each other, encouraged each other, and showed what real community looks like. We can’t wait for next year!

Walk 2025 – 30th August 2025

This year on 30th August the team set out to walk again to raise funds for Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ. Following the 1066 country walk, they started at Herstmonceux Castle, then walked to Battle Abbey, medieval Winchelsea, and ended up in historic Rye.

Originally, the team planned to walk 26 miles, but they actually completed 28 miles! It was a real workout, but they finished with smiles 😁 on their faces and a great sense of accomplishment. Your prayers were truly appreciated as the weather held up (apart from a little drizzle in places) despite some ominous clouds, and no one was injured!

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated – your generosity means so much. Every penny raised helps us continue our mission of supporting young people and pointing them to Jesus. All the money raised will go directly into our work in schools, the youth centre, and with churches, to see young people’s lives changed by Him.

We’re so grateful to share that just days after the walk, we reached our fundraising goal – thank you to all who donated!

This year our work is expanding, with new staff joining and rising costs to meet. We’re trusting God’s continued faithfulness. If you feel led to support our mission – whether through a one-off gift or regular support – we’d be really grateful.

Prayer Meeting
10th September 2025, 1pm

Sometimes the needs around us feel too big to ignore – broken families, tired communities, young people searching for hope. We may not have all the answers, but we can pray. Unite Youth
19th September 2025 – don’t miss out!
5.30pm – 8pm (£3 on the door)

If Unite Youth is new to you – or to someone you know – you may be asking: “What’s it all about?”

Unite Youth is our monthly Friday night event for young people in school years 6–13, bringing together youth from local churches, The Youth Centre, and their friends. Each night is packed with games, crafts, live worship, workshops, and of course, plenty of pizza. Our workshops change each time – from football and art to music and percussion – and are always a hit. We also share a short, encouraging Christian message, speaking into real issues like faith, friendships, fears, and identity. Whether you’re part of a church or just exploring, everyone’s welcome. Come hang out, have fun, and be encouraged!

Book here!

Volunteer at the Unite Youth events!

We are always looking for more Christian volunteers for upcoming Unite Youth events! If you have a gift, talent, or passion you’d love to share – whether it’s leading a workshop, helping behind the scenes, or just getting involved – we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and be part of what God is doing amongst the young people!
