This year on 30th August the team are walking 26 miles again to raise funds for Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ.

We start at Herstmonceux Castle, then walk to Battle Abbey, medieval Winchelsea, and we end in historic Rye following the 1066 country walk.

Our fundraising is vital to ensure that we can support young people. This year we have met over 700 unique young people at our events and given away over 30.000 pieces of toast outside The Youth Centre.

One young person shared the impact that our work has had:

“Now I know Jesus I feel happier and love talking to people. I am being more creative and enjoy joining in with art at The Youth Centre”

Please donate to our work, either as a one off gift of sponsorship or a regular donation.

You can either give directly via BACS (please use the code Walk2025 for sponsorship) or via Stewardship which claims the gift aid for us

It costs around £5 a week to buy squash for those coming to the Centre, £20 to provide a mentoring session for a vulnerable young person and around £100 a month to buy bread for hungry young people walking home from school.  Every penny really does matter as we seek to see young people’s lives changed by Jesus.

All the money raised will be used to fund our work in schools, the youth centre and with churches in order to see young people’s lives changed by Jesus.
