We are excited to look forward to a new term at The Youth Centre, in schools and at Unite Youth.
From August 20th to 22nd, we had an incredible time at the Unite Youth Camp 2024! Youth from different churches came together for three days of fun, fellowship, and faith. It was amazing to see everyone connecting, making new friends, and enjoying all the activities.
From exciting outdoor games to engaging Bible sessions, there was something for everyone. The energy and spirit throughout the camp were truly inspiring, and we left feeling more united and strengthened in our faith.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and made this camp unforgettable, and everyone who supported us in prayer.
The Youth Centre opened last Wednesday; we were delighted to see young people we know as well as new year 7s.
We are still in need of adult volunteers to serve refreshments, give out toast or chat to the young people.
If you could help from 3:15 – 5:15pm on a week-day please let us know.
Join us at the Youth Centre on Wednesday, 11th September 2024, at 1 PM for a prayer gathering. We’ll be lifting up our work and the young people we serve in prayer. You are welcome to bring your lunch, and we’ll provide the drinks. We’ll keep it to about an hour, so come spend this meaningful time with us. Looking forward to seeing you there!
We’re looking forward to our next Unite Youth event on Friday, 13th September 2024. Our theme for the evening is “Self-Control,” one of the fruits of the Spirit, and we’re grateful to have David from Tunbridge Wells Baptist Church as our guest speaker. It will also be a pleasure to welcome some new faces from the Year 6 students who recently joined.
We’re also pleased to have visitors from the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, who will lead a workshop on their Climate Change Strategy and Draft Strategic Plan for the next 8 years. This will give the young people a chance to vote on the climate action priorities and strategic ambitions that matter most to them.
Following our last year’s successful walk, on 28th September 2024 we will embark on a 26-mile journey. Starting from Wadhurst Church we will walk to all the schools and churches where we work or provide support, finishing at The Youth Centre in Tunbridge Wells. This will not only raise funds but also allow us to pray for each of our ministries along the way. We’re currently training and woul
d greatly appreciate your prayers.
