After a busy summer out and about in the town centre and in Calverley Park we are delighted to be welcoming students back into the Youth Centre after school.

We kept in touch with some of our regulars as well as meeting new young people some of whom we hope to keep supporting.  The Centre has been very busy – we quickly ran out of cake – as we welcomed back students and met lots of new ones.

As we are very busy in the after school drop-in we could do with some more lovely Christian adults to help.
If you are free in the afternoons, can smile, serve drinks and cake, play board games and chat to young people about their day, we’d love you to join the team.
We love to serve home-made cake to the young people who come to The Youth Centre. We have a freezer so can store any gifts of cake until we need them – but we have been so busy this term that it is nearly empty already!
Could you bake some cake for us?
A huge thank you to all of you who sponsored us.  We are in the process of  working out our annual accounts.  We could not do without you, our supporters, to keep us running year by year.
Our next big event is on 15th October  when we look forward to welcoming young people to an adventurous day in Frant.
Please pray for

  • Young people settling in to new schools and classes
  • Great conversations
  • More volunteers in The Youth Centre, making cake  and running our communications.
  • Unite in the Wild – for young people to sign up and for fun and safety on the day
