Give thanks for October’s Unite. Bruna Willing spoke to the young people about sharing their faith and gave them an opportunity to commit their lives to Jesus at the end. Please pray those who responded.
Please pray for Unite on 18th November – Anna, the youth worker from St James, is speaking on courage. Please pray for the young people who will lead the music aided by Chris. Chris has started a discipleship small group for those involved in leading worship. We would love to see the young people confident enough to lead, speak and pray at Unite.
Berti continues to work alongside Tunbridge Wells Christian Fellowship at Broadmead. He is helping Rosemary Jolley with the group of primary aged children and hopes to develop a group for older children from these contacts. Please pray that Berti would find a volunteer to work with him but give thanks for Tony who has had time to support him recently.
We praise God for the opportunities that Berti has to partner across Tunbridge Wells and beyond. He is supporting older children in Temple Grove Academy, working as a chaplain in West Kent College and meeting young people through the Gatehouse in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Please pray for protection for Berti and for spirit filled conversations with all he meets.
Give thanks for the new version of the Good News Bible – The Youth Edition. A new interactive youth Bible for young people, created in partnership with Youth for Christ and the Bible Society. We are very excited to start using it with our young people.
We have now placed another advert looking for a staff member to work more on the discipleship side. Please pray that we would find the right person and continue to pray for all our existing workers and volunteers:

We continue to give thanks for Polly’s bike ride – overall she will have raised nearly £6,000. Praise God for Polly’s determination and the generosity of the donors.
The next fund-raising opportunity is the rescheduled Barn Dance on 2nd February in Bidborough Village Hall. Please put the date in your diary.
