As we head towards our Walk 2026 fundraiser, we’ve been keeping busy with training and preparations.

Easter at the Youth Centre
For the last few weeks before Easter we were focusing on a theme of new life and what that means to the young people. The young people responded to questions hidden in an Easter egg looking at themes of forgiveness, love, sacrifice and hope.
Easter cakes & Easter booklets were given out in the week leading up to Easter.
We asked young people what brings them to the Youth Centre – and what they value most.
It comes down to food, atmosphere, and above all – the people. It’s a place to “hang out,” enjoy “very tasty” food, and be with “nice” and “cool” company.
For some, it’s about connection – “make friends,” “do creative things,” or just spend time with a best friend. For others, it’s simple: “because I want to.”
The Noise 2026 ~ Event report
From 15th – 17th April, nearly 40 young people from 7 different churches took part in The Noise 2026, with around 30 attending each day. Huge thanks to our amazing team of staff, youth workers and volunteers from 10 churches who made it happen! 🙌
Over three fantastic days, young people got involved in teaching, projects, worship, games, an Easter escape room, and the ever popular Duck’s Day Out. Spirits stayed high – even when one group got caught in the rain!
We are so proud of everyone who took part – they made it unforgettable! We can’t wait to see what the Noise 2027 will be like! We are currently looking for a host church for next year’s event. 🚶♀️Walk 2026🚶♂️~ 30th May 2026
This year’s annual sponsored walk is happening earlier than usual – on Saturday 30th May 2026. We’ll be walking from Rochester Cathedral, to Bessels Green, near Sevenoaks, our newest church contact.
We’re raising funds to grow our youth work as more young people are opening up to the gospel than ever before.
We’re seeing real momentum – and we want to respond by creating more spaces where young people can explore faith: Christian Unions, debates, Ask Me Anything events, and discipleship groups after the café closes. We’re also continuing to invest in Unite Youth, where many are taking meaningful steps toward Jesus.
Your support helps make this happen. For example:
• £20 provides a journaling Bible for a young person
• £25 supports an After Hours discipleship session
• £40 funds a Christian Union session
• £150 sends a leader to Satellites camp
• £200/month helps cover core Unite Youth costs
• £1,000 supports transport for camps and events
