Counting down the days to Christmas and nearly another year drawing to a close, seems like a good time to look back with thanks and to look forward with hope!
We have much to give thanks for including:
- A great team of staff and volunteers
- Provision of just enough financial resources in the last financial year including a whopping £13,000 raised from our sponsored walk
- 1038 different young people accessing The Youth Centre this year
- 3109 encounters with young people in some capacity through our events
- Great stories- N who has now committed his life to Jesus and just wants to play ‘Jesus games’ on the tablets when he comes into The Youth Centre
- F who wanted to share what he had made in Food Tech with the team because, he said, The Youth Centre do so much for him and the other young people.
We know that God is the great provider, but we also know that it is through partnership with people such as yourselves that this provision comes. Thank you. Thank you for your faithful and continued support. Thank you for continuing to stand with us.
It costs just under £80,000 per annum to run Tunbridge Wells Youth for Christ. This is a lot of money to find each year. And we are facing increased costs like everyone else.
We know that some of our supporters give sacrificially and that to ask for an increase is too much. However, others might feel it in their power to look at their giving and feel able to increase their donation.
If you are in that position, please prayerfully consider increasing your donation. It will greatly assist us to meet our rising overheads. We are very careful with the funds that our donors so generously give. Everything is poured into reaching more young people with the good news of Jesus. And this at a time when young people desperately need this message of hope.
