As we look back on 2019 we give thanks for the Lord’s provision for us in so many ways. Our team and our reach has expanded, young people have heard and experienced the love of Jesus and been helped to live for him.
We give thanks that as a result of our recent fundraising over £2000 was raised at our cheese and wine evening and nearly £1500 was given subsequently by individuals. We also rejoice that some people have started giving regularly to our work. Please consider whether you could give £10 a month to support.
Give thanks for Unite on Tour in November hosted by St Matts church. It was great to see the young people welcoming their friends to their church and getting involved in leading worship and speaking.
Please pray for the Unite Christmas party on 13th December and the next Unite on Tour on 17th January (more details to follow)
This month the team are busy supporting local churches and organisations with their Christmas outreach and celebrations. Whether it is performing in a pantomime for primary schools, helping to run a Christmas celebration or helping a young person budget for Christmas our youth workers are bringing the light of Jesus to others. Please pray that in everything they do they would share the true meaning of Christmas.
After Christmas the team will be at the Youth for Christ National Conference from 6th – 10th January. Pray that we would be re-inspired to see young people’s lives changed by Jesus.
