The Year Out is a Christian gap year programme run by British Youth For Christ, for young people aged 17-25. Born out of our passion for mission and evangelism, The Year Out is all about investing in you, enabling you to impact the lives of others as you learn to effectively share your faith in both word and action.
There are 8 fantastic streams to choose from; from the youth work stream based in one of the 70+ UK centres (including Tunbridge Wells!) to touring the UK as part of a specialist dance, music or media teams, we’re sure you’ll find something tailored to your skills and interest.
The Year Out is a year full of opportunities to grow your faith, boost your confidence and develop your gifting. You will leave the programme with greater clarity around your calling, more skills and a greater passion for the gospel.
