We give thanks for all that has been happening in The Youth Centre and beyond this month.
Recently we had 34 young people in the centre and great engagement on the street. They come in for cold drinks and cake and stay for chat and games.
Emma writes “Unite Olympics saw 20 young people across 5 different churches come together for a day in the sun where they played football, badminton, basketball and competed in lots of silly and wet races! We had a short message about what it means to be united and a community in Christ.”
On Friday 16th June we held our first Unite Youth event – a monthly event for youth groups to come together. Over 40 young people joined in for music, games, craft, pizza and a short message.
This summer we are holding our first Unite Camp. We are spending two activity packed days at Adamswell in July and have spaces for 20 young people. As we have to charge £55 to cover our costs the camp may be out of reach for some of our young people we see at the Youth Centre.
